Location & Hours
We are in Zamalek. The entrance is on the side street — you will see a small brass sign at eye level. No signboard above the door. Just the name.
Getting Here · كيف تصل
From Zamalek's main street (26 July), walk north on Ismail Mohamed Street. After the small garden on your left, turn into the first lane. The brass plaque is on the wall at head height. 12 minutes from the Gezira Club gate.
Tell your driver: 12 Ismail Mohamed, Zamalek — the side entrance. There is no official parking on the lane itself. Street parking is available on 26th July Corridor, a 3-minute walk. Valet is not available.
The closest metro station is Cairo Opera (Line 2). From there, cross the Qasr El Nil bridge into Zamalek — approximately 20 minutes on foot, or 8 minutes by microbus. Ask for Zamalek, Ismail Mohamed.
First Visit
If a booth is available, it's yours. If every booth is taken, we'll tell you honestly and give you an accurate wait time. We don't guess. We don't say "just five minutes" when we mean thirty.
When you're seated, your server will bring the menu and ask one question: what tea today? Everything else food, water, anything else follows from there. The tea comes first, always.
Your booth is yours until you leave. We will never clear the table as a signal. We will never hover. If you want anything, there is a small call bell on the table — press it once. That's all it takes.
There is a small prayer space at the back of the ground floor. It is always clean, always unlocked, and has a qibla compass on the wall. Ask any member of staff — they will show you without making it a moment.
