The Booths · البوثات
Four configurations
Every booth at Tanaad is fully enclosed or semi-private by default. We don't have open seating. You arrive, your booth is yours, and it stays yours until you leave.
1 person
A single chair, a low table, a curtain on one side. For working without interruption, or sitting without occasion.
2 people
Two chairs facing each other across a narrow table. Good for a quiet conversation that needs to go somewhere. Or one that doesn't.
3 to 6 people
A longer table, bench seating on two sides, chairs on the end. Designed for gatherings that don't need to announce themselves.
Up to 10 people
A fully enclosed room with a door. For those conversations that need a room to themselves. Bookable by the hour or the half-day.
Every booth includes
A dedicated space with a qibla compass. Always clean, always open. No announcement needed.
No open-plan seating. Every booth is enclosed. Your conversation stays in the booth.
Dedicated bandwidth per booth. Password at the table. No sharing with the whole café.
Your first glass is served when you arrive. You choose the tea. We handle the rest.
Questions
Do I need to book in advance?
Solo and pair booths are available walk-in when open. Group booths (4+) and the private room require advance booking. Same-day bookings are accepted if available.
Is there a minimum stay?
No minimum. The booth is yours when you arrive and stays yours until you leave. We don't time you. We don't clear the table as a hint. You'll know when it's time.
Can I work here for a full day?
Yes. Solo and pair booths are suited for extended working sessions. During peak hours (12–3pm, 6–9pm) we ask that walk-in guests limit sessions to 2 hours. Booked sessions have no such restriction.
Is there a deposit to reserve?
Group booths and the private room require a small refundable deposit on booking. Solo and pair reservations are free and require only your name and phone number.
How do brothers and sisters days work?
Daytime hours are dedicated: brothers days are Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday (10am–5pm); sisters days are Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday (10am–5pm). Every evening from 6pm is open to families and mixed groups, and Fridays are family hours all day. Members can book family booths during evening sessions. Full details are on the Members page.
Can I bring my own food?
We serve light accompaniments in-house. Outside food is not permitted in the booths, but our kitchen can accommodate most dietary needs if you let us know in advance.
